Monday will bring forth a number of changes to CNN International and it's lineup of shows. CNN Today, World News, World News Asia, and Your World Today will all become World Report. Guillermo Arduino's weekly World Report show will become World View.

European primetime programming will have two new shows added to its lineup, World One, hosted by Fionnuala Sweeney, and Amanpour hosted by Chief International Correspondent Christiane Amanpour.

The network will also sport a new logo, which can be seen in an Amanpour promo here.

World One

'World One', hosted by Fionnuala Sweeney, is a fast-paced international news bulletin, designed to keep viewers across the day's major stories. 'World One' delivers everything you need to know about the world's biggest stories in a punchy half-hour format. The programme will showcase the network's best news reports and deliver the latest news headlines from across the globe. Every day, 'World One' will showcase a special segment that brings you closer to one part of the world and 'In Focus' will be a deeper look at an international news story. With Fionnuala's expertise and extensive knowledge of international affairs, 'World One' is designed to become appointment viewing for anyone who wants to keep on top of the news.

Amanpour

On 21st September (22nd in the Asia Pacific region), CNN International launches its centrepiece, the highly-anticipated 'Amanpour' programme. This interview programme, hosted by the internationally renowned and multi-award-winning journalist Christiane Amanpour, will aim to set the agenda for a new global conversation. Each half-hour show will focus on a single topic; often news-driven, often provocative, bringing to bear Christiane's vast journalistic experience and depth of knowledge honed from a quarter of a century reporting from around the world, alongside some of the major influencers and newsmakers of the day.

More information is forthcoming and will be posted as it becomes available.

- Rosemary Church is headed to her home continent of Australia for a short break. BackStory's Michael Holmes will be filling for her on the first weekend block of shows.

- New York-based photojournalist Emmanuel Tambakakis was injured recently while in Greece. TVNewser has the story.

- In case you missed it, Tony Harris (anchor of CNN Newsroom on CNN Domestic) broke out in a little Michael Jackson a while back. They showed the video to him and here is his reaction (look for a great Kyra Phillips appearance):

CNN Newsroom is going the way of Headine News and changing to a single anchor format. TVNewser has more details. Here is the new lineup, beginning September 8th.

CNN confirmed to us today that Stephen Frazier is no longer with CNN International.

Since joining CNN Worldwide in 1993, he served as Senior Correspondent for CNN Presents, Senior Correspondent and co-anchor of Impact, weekend anchor for CNN Domestic, anchor for Headline News, and most recently anchor for CNN International's Your World Today and World News programs.

Instead of updating pages for shows that still have the old CNN.com Show Page look, pages for World News, Your World Today, World Business Today and Business International all head back to the CNN International main page and are no longer listed under the shows menu.

CNN/I's Your World Today (YWT), with Jim Clancy and Ralisa Vassileva briefly cut to CNN/US coverage of the fire at the under-construction airport tower at Miami International Airport on Wednesday. The coverage began just before 1755 gmt as thick black smoke was billowing out of the tower. YWT broke away for a break as normal, and after 1800 gmt - after a quick recap of the story - normal programming resumed.

CNN/I's longterm "Eye on..." series continues this week with Eye On Russia. Jim Clancy is in Moscow for special coverage of the massive changes Russia has undergone in the 15 years following the break-up of the Soviet Union. From Monday to Friday, Jim will be contributing special reports during Your World Today at 1430 gmt. There will also be other special programming throughout the week.

Isha Sesay was presenting the Insight segment during Your World Today at 1645 gmt on CNN/I. YWT was being hosted by Jim Clancy and Hala Gorani, the latter speaking with Isha after the segment.

Isha is usually seen hosting World News at the weekends on CNN/I. However, she has recently been used for other things, including hosting Inside Africa, reporting from Nigeria during the elections and co-hosting Your World Today recently.

Some time back CNN/I ditched Insight in the 30-minute weeknightly format, and turned it into an insert within programmes such as Your World Today and World News. Jonathan Mann has remained the host. It appeared that this was for a trial period to judge the viewer reaction.

CNN International's Richard Quest has been all across the CNN platforms today covering the Queen's visit to the United States. He was on CNN Newsroom this morning and afternoon, Your World Today, and most recently The Situation Room.

No word if Robin Meade did her Richard Quest imitation on Robin and Company this morning. *ha*

From around 1700 gmt today, CNNI broke off You World Today for a live relay of CNN Newsroom from CNN/US, with breaking news coverage of the CIA leak perjury trial verdict, with Lewis Libby found guilty on four of five counts.

Jim Clancy and Hala Gorani took back CNNI's control at 1720 gmt with continuing coverage of the verdict. It is assumed that CNN continued with their own coverage, rather than taking Your World Today.

From yesterday, Max Foster has been in Atlanta co-anchoring Your World Today with Colleen McEdwards. Max is usually to be found co-anchoring CNN Today, or Business International, from London.

It is not known if this is a temporary or long-term arrangement, but it has been known to happen before (recently, Richard Quest spent a few week's co-hosting Your World Today).
