CNN Radio Offers Fast-paced Review of Final Four in ‘Tickling the Twine’

CNN Pressroom - In time for the opening tip-off of the 2007 NCAA Final Four, CNN Radio and Headline News sports anchor Will Selva offer a full-court look at this year’s NCAA Division I men’s basketball championship with the network’s latest long-form program, “Tickling the Twine.” This hour-long program was produced by CNN Radio supervising producer Richard Benson.

“Tickling the Twine” features interviews with basketball coaches, analysis from college basketball insiders and a look into the reasons for the popularity of “March Madness.” Selva and CNN Radio also examine some of the financial elements of the tournament and how it means millions for participating schools and even dollars for those filling out their own brackets.

This program’s slate of guests include Southern Illinois coach Chris Lowery; UNLV coach Lon Kruger; former Duke University great Christian Laettner; Mike DeCourcy, a basketball analyst for Sporting News; Joe Ferreira, an executive producer with CBSSportsline.Com; and Billy Packer, a CBS basketball analyst.

“Tickling the Twine” is now available to CNN Radio stations on the private affiliate Web site and as a podcast at www.CNN.com/podcasting/

Here are some excerpts from the program. Please credit CNN Radio in all uses.

Christian Laettner, whose Duke team in 1991 and 1992 was the last to win back-to-back championships, on the difficulty of repeating as champions and whether Florida is up to the challenge:

It's extremely hard, you have to be very well coached. I respect Billy Donovan; he has done a great job.

Billy Packer explaining why he was not surprised with the resulting Final Four:

I thought there were six to eight teams this year in college basketball that probably stood head and shoulders above the next 60 teams.

Laettner on whether he is secretly rooting against the Florida Gators to repeat as champions:

I'm rooting against them, but I would not be surprised if they pulled it off, because they are a great team and very well coached.

CNN Celebrates Larry King’s 50th Anniversary in Broadcasting

Multi-platform Programming Kicks off ‘King-Sized’ Anniversary Week of April 16-22

Award-winning broadcaster Larry King marks his 50th anniversary in broadcasting with a weeklong celebration on Larry King Live and on CNN across all of its platforms, including on air, online and on radio. King kicks off the anniversary week with Oprah Winfrey, Katie Couric, Bill Clinton, Bill Maher and a two-hour special presentation, CNN Presents: Larry King – 50 Years of Pop Culture.

King’s career began in 1957 when he worked at a small radio station in Miami Beach, Fla., performing odd jobs. When an announcer suddenly quit, he was given his big break and offered a position as a disc jockey. Fifty years and 40,000 interviews later, King altered the face of broadcasting with his everyman touch. He has interviewed everyone from presidents and kings, celebrities and newsmakers and ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances. When King made the transition from his successful national radio talk show to cable, he helped pioneer the future of cable news programming and CNN.

As part of the weeklong anniversary celebration, King will host a few of his favorite guests during the week of April 16-22 on Larry King Live.

Monday, April 16 – Oprah Winfrey joins King for an in-depth discussion on longevity in the media and the call to give back, 9-10p.m. (ET);

Tuesday, April 17 – Katie Couric turns the microphone on King and interviews him on his own set, 9-10p.m. (ET);

Wednesday, April 18 – CNN Presents premieres a two-hour special Larry King - 50 Years of Pop Culture. This documentary will focus on the last 50 years of pop culture as seen through King’s bespectacled eyes, including his early days in Miami covering local celebrities and hurricanes to his national radio show that was broadcast from Washington, D.C., to his pioneering cable television move to CNN with a prime-time, worldwide show with audience calls, 9-11p.m. (ET);

Thursday, April 19 – Bill Clinton joins King for an exclusive and engaging interview, 9-10p.m. (ET);

Friday, April 20 – Bill Maher and more than 20 surprise all-star guests celebrate King on his set, 9-10p.m (ET);

Saturday, April 21 – Larry King – 50 Years of Pop Culture, 8-10p.m. (ET);

Sunday, April 22 – Larry King – 50 Years of Pop Culture, 8-10p.m. (ET).

Photographs and a full transcript of all interviews will be available each night and in advance when possible. All guests are subject to change.

In addition, King will appear on CNN programming and radio throughout the week discussing his career and his greatest interviews.

CNN will release Larry King Live: The Greatest Interviews, a three-disc DVD collection containing more than nine hours of programming. The collections will feature King’s most compelling interviews with movie and television stars, comedians, talk show hosts, presidents and newsmakers from CNN’s longest-running interview program. The collection will go on sale Tuesday, April 17.

CNN.com highlights King’s 50th anniversary with a special report located at www.CNN.com/LarryKing50. The report includes an interactive timeline reflecting King’s life and his most famous interviews, complete with video and audio clips; several galleries and features offering trivia and statistics about King; an audio quiz that invites users to listen to King ask some of his famous questions and then guess the guest who answers; and a behind-the-scenes look at King’s career as he talks about the evolution of broadcasting over the past 50 years and reveals his tips for a successful interview and the secret to a long career.

Larry King Live airs nightly from 9-10 p.m. (ET). For more information on upcoming shows or to locate past transcripts, visit http://www.CNN.com/larryking. Wendy Walker is the senior executive producer of Larry King Live. CNN’s Dobbs Takes Border, Middle Class, Drug Issues to Mississippi, D.C.

CNN Pressroom - Lou Dobbs Reports, Hosts Forums from Tuesday, March 27, to Thursday, March 29

CNN anchor Lou Dobbs takes several of the nation’s hot-button issues – immigration, addiction crisis and the war on the middle class – to the American public next week with a series of prime-time special reports, in addition to his regularly scheduled broadcasts. Dobbs investigates controversial prosecution of two U.S. Border Patrol agents on Tuesday, March 27, and follows that up with two live forums from Washington, D.C., on America’s abuse and addiction to drugs and alcohol and the war on the middle class.

On Tuesday, Dobbs will travel to the federal correctional facility in Yazoo City, Miss., to continue his reporting on Jose Campeon and Ignacio Ramos, two former U.S. Border Patrol agents found guilty of shooting and wounding a Mexican drug smuggler attempting to cross the border in 2005. Dobbs investigates the controversial prosecution as well as claims that Ramos was beaten in jail. Dobbs examines the effort of U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) to pass legislation that would pardon Ramos.

Dobbs then travels to Washington, D.C., to continue his national dialogue on the state of drug and alcohol abuse in the United States and the war on the middle class. Before a live audience at George Washington University on Wednesday, Dobbs – as part of his on-going “The War Within” series – discusses the fight against drug addiction and alcohol abuse. On Thursday, Dobbs will discuss health care, education, taxes and other issues impacting the middle class as part of “The War on the Middle Class” forum.

These special reports will all air on CNN/U.S. at 8 p.m. (ET) on their respective days. Lou Dobbs Tonight airs each weekday at 6 p.m. (ET) on CNN/U.S.

Dobbs is a national best-selling author and award-winning journalist. Dobbs joined CNN in 1980 as anchor of Moneyline and is the only original anchor on the air today. While at CNN, Dobbs helped CNN become the leader in television business news and oversaw the launch of CNNfn and CNNfn.com in 1995. He received the George Foster Peabody Award for his coverage of the 1987 stock market crash, and he won an Emmy Award for his groundbreaking series “Exporting America” in 2004. In 2005, the National Academy of Arts and Sciences honored Dobbs with its Lifetime Achievement Emmy for business and financial reporting.

Richard Lui on Robin & Company?

This morning, CNN Pipeline's Richard Lui is on Robin and Company just giving the "Top Stories" they are following at the quarter of every hour. I wonder if this is a permanent thing with Richard or if the other Pipeline anchors will rotate out here daily?

Also, I think Rally Capparas is gone from Robin & Company, as Meterologist Bob Van Dillen has been providing airport delays for the last week and continues today. He could be out sick or on an extended vacation at his company, but who knows.

We'll keep you updated on both issues as we receive more information.

CNN Pressroom - Back-to-back Debates in 2008 Feature Republican Candidates on Jan. 30, Democratic Hopefuls on Jan. 31

CNN and the Los Angeles Times have teamed up to sponsor two key presidential debates in California in the days preceding the Super Tuesday primaries on Feb. 5, 2008. Republican presidential candidates will meet on Jan. 30, 2008, while the Democratic candidates will gather on Jan. 31.

Information on exact times, locations and other details of these debates will be forthcoming.

“Now that Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has moved the California primaries to Feb. 5, Californians, along with other Super Tuesday voters, will influence the presidential nomination process earlier than ever before,” said Jon Klein, president of CNN/U.S. “We’re delighted to continue our traditional debates with the Los Angeles Times in the days before those critical primaries to help millions of Americans cast the most informed votes possible.”

“California's voters will play an enormously important role in the outcome of the 2008 election, and the Los Angeles Times is honored to co-host these historic debates,” said Los Angeles Times Publisher David D. Hiller. “As the essential source for news and information in Southern California, The Times looks forward to working with CNN again to bring the presidential contenders together in a public forum.”

To date, CNN has officially announced its sponsorship of several key presidential debates for the 2008 campaign, including two in New Hampshire in June 2007, another in Nevada slated for November 2007 and one in South Carolina planned for January 2008.

The Los Angeles Times is the largest metropolitan daily newspaper in the country, with a daily readership of nearly 2.2 million and 3.3 million on Sunday. CNN Radio’s ‘Digital Downbeat’ Keeps Affiliates in Tune with Tech News

CNN Pressroom - CNN Radio and Headline News anchor Renay San Miguel tackle the latest developments in technology in “Digital Downbeat.” This long-form program examines everything from satellite radio to online music to high-definition radio. “Digital Downbeat” was produced by CNN Radio supervising producer Sherri Maksin.

The four-part “Digital Downbeat” show examines the issue of digital rights management in the wake of comments from Apple Chairman Steve Jobs, who wants the recording industry to ease up on restrictions placed on downloading music; the proposed merger of XM and Sirius Satellite Radio and what it means for their subscribers as well as terrestrial radio broadcasters; the current state of online music, especially as more artists debut their songs on the Internet; and the future of high-definition radio.

The program’s impressive slate of guests include Jerry del Colliano, founder of Inside Radio; Steven Levy, chief technology writer for Newsweek; Dave Ramsey, president of Hear 2.0; Dan Sheeran, vice president of Real Networks; Cary Sherman, president of the Recording Industry Association of America; Bob Struble, president of iBiquity Digital Corp.; and Dennis Wharton of the National Association of Broadcasters.

“Digital Downbeat” is now available to CNN Radio stations on the private affiliate Web site and as a podcast at www.CNN.com/services/podcasting/

Here are some excerpts from the program. Please credit CNN Radio in all uses.

Jerry del Colliano on the future of high-definition radio:

The CRB (Copyright Royalty Board) ruling could be terminal for Internet radio. But it’s the consumer that will be hurt the most as Wi-Fi becomes the technology to get Internet streams wherever you are. HD radio is a turkey. The generation that loves radio is NOT “Generation Y.” The generation that loves radio is not buying HD Radios, so there’s no future.

Cary Sherman on illegal downloads:

The RIAA is asking colleges and universities to step up, show their students that there are consequences to illegal downloading.

Mark Ramsey on radio mergers and consolidation:

The NAB was all for radio consolidation but opposes satellite radio consolidation. Merger conversation is a distraction because of the low number of subscribers – 14 million. Radio overall is healthy. The opportunity is to spread programming across numerous platforms – the Internet, podcasting, etc. – and do a better job of pleasing consumers.

Steven Levy on Internet music:

The Internet has allowed musicians to go further without a record label. Because production costs are low, you don’t need a blockbuster album in order to be profitable.

CNN Radio is a full-service network, providing its approximately 2,000 worldwide affiliates with the latest information in news, sports and business. AC on "CNN Biz Break"?

I'm currently watching Paula Zahn Now and Anderson Cooper just came in after a commercial with a "CNN Biz Break". Does he normally do this? Seems a little strange, but I don't always watch Paula so it could be a normal thing. One would think that a CNN Business News correspondent (Susan Lisovicz, Valerie Morris, Carrie Lee, Kitty Pilgrim, etc.) would do something like this.

CNN, Headline News Offer Rare, Behind-the-Scenes Look at Frontline Rescue

Correspondent Alex Quade Profiles Elite Military Team Charged with Rescuing Troops in Field of Combat

Operating under the motto of “That Others May Live,” the Guardian Angel Weapons System assembles pararescuemen, combat rescue officers and specialists of survival, evasion, resistance and escape into an elite team tasked with rescuing military personnel from the fields of battle in Iraq and Afghanistan. Pilots and aircrews, special helicopters and fighter aircraft round out the Combat Search and Rescue team. Through unprecedented access, The Situation Room on CNN/U.S. and Glenn Beck on Headline News tell for the first time the story about these specialized rescue units from the frontlines and with never-before-seen war zone video and pictures.

These reports extend across multiple platforms, airing the week of Monday, March 19, during The Situation Room and Glenn Beck. The Situation Room airs on CNN/U.S. each weekday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Glenn Beck airs each weekday on Headline News at 7 p.m. with replays at 9 p.m. and midnight. All times Eastern.

In “Combat Search and Rescue,” CNN correspondent Alex Quade takes viewers behind-the-scenes to reveal what it takes for a rescue helicopter to hover as low as six inches above buildings in urban areas amid enemy fire to hoist injured military personnel to safety. Amid her reporting, Quade and viewers experience – in full - a mass casualty situation in the water as well as a covert mission in the dead of night.

In addition, Quade will provide special reports for CNN.com, which will be available next week at www.CNN.com/CNN/Programs/beck.combat/. A preview of the series will also air on various CNN/U.S. and Headline News programming on Saturday, March 17, and Sunday, March 18.

Iraq Security Conference Coverage

At 1546 gmt, CNNI broke out of the re-run of "Blood On The Stone" for a Live Event. Rosemary Church live at CNN Center crossed over to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshiyar Zabari speaking live at the one-day Iraqi security conference.

After a few minutes, Zabari started taking questions from reporters. Unfortunately, the dialogue moved into Arabic and CNNI obviously didn't have a translator to hand.

Despite Rosemary trying to ad-lib until he spoke again in English, he only answered one more question in English before moving back into Arabic.

Blood On The Stone continued at 1553 gmt.

Headline News’ Thomas Roberts Discusses Priest Abuse on Anderson Cooper 360º

CNN Pressroom - Headline News anchor Thomas Roberts reveals for the first time on television his personal account of the abuse he suffered at the hands of a Roman Catholic priest during Anderson Cooper 360º on Monday, March 12. For a powerful and sometimes wrenching hour, Roberts discusses the abuse by Father Jerome F. Toohey Jr., known as “Father Jeff,” from 1987 to 1990 and his journey to overcome the scars and bring his abuser to justice.

Prosecutors in Maryland pressed charges against Toohey for sexually abusing Roberts. Toohey pleaded guilty and was sentenced in February 2006 for five years in prison. After serving less than 10 months he was released into home detention to serve the rest of his sentence.

“Sins of the Father” airs at 10 p.m. (ET) during the first hour of Anderson Cooper 360°.

Below are excerpts from “Sins of the Father" courtesy of Anderson Cooper 360°.

Roberts on the abuse:

It's probably the worst place you can be in your life. Because there's so much shame that goes along with this. There's secrecy. There's shame. There's self-hatred, self-doubt. Uh, every mixed up emotion you can have that you don't feel you can talk to anybody. It was the most twisted and turned-around environment that I could have ever have been in and coming from a place of struggle as a child and into a young boy. It was a prison. I mean it was like backing me into a corner with nowhere to go.

I was robbed here. Of my self-respect, of my own image. You know part of my soul even. This place paralyzed me thinking I would die with this secret. I would die with this secret.

Roberts on the judicial system:

I don't know how to define justice in this. What's justice? I mean, what . . . do I get early release from this? No. You don't get early release from knowing what happened to you. Do you get early release from the shame and the secrets and the lies and the cover-up and all of that? You just don't. You just have to deal with the fact that that was your life. You did it, you had to put up with it to survive, and it'll be your story for the rest of your life. No early release from this story.
Roberts on seeing Toohey in church:

I thought how people respected him. I thought how people really looked up to this man. Even--not even understanding what was happening to me, you still have respect for this man in this position as your priest. And I realized also that he had the power, not me.

CNN Documentary Reveals Real Lives of Medical Residents for Grady’s Anatomy

CNN Pressroom - CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Four Young Doctors Guide Viewers Inside Busy Inner City Hospital

The experiences of Dr. John Carter on E.R. and Dr. McDreamy on Grey’s Anatomy might make for fascinating television drama, but the lives of actual young doctors are even more exciting. The personal dramas and life-saving work of medical residents are the subjects of a new documentary, CNN: Special Investigations Unit – Grady’s Anatomy, which will premiere on Saturday, March 24, and Sunday, March 25, at 8 p.m. and 11p.m. All times Eastern.

More than 900 medical residents practice at Grady Memorial Hospital, one of the busiest Level 1 trauma hospitals in the Southeast. Based in the bustling southern city of Atlanta, Grady offers non-stop action, and physicians-in-training have to be prepared for almost anything.

Four Grady residents – and CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta – allowed CNN to shadow them as they juggled their professional and personal lives. An experienced attending neurosurgeon at Grady, Gupta also serves as CNN’s chief medical correspondent, reporting from conflict zones and natural disasters around the world. In an emergency situation, he once operated with a Black and Decker drill while reporting from the battlefront in Iraq.

For three weeks, CNN followed Dr. Nii-Daako Darko, Dr. Robin Lowman, Dr. Andrea Meinerz and Dr. Luis Tumialàn on rounds through the emergency room and the operating room as well as during their free time for a game of high stakes poker, a baby feeding … and even a little bird watching. The residents include:

· Dr. Nii-Daako Darko, whose parents emigrated from Ghana in West Africa. A first-year surgical intern, Darko grew up in near Newark, N.J., and says that he relates to the personal struggles of his inner city patients. He describes Dr. Cliff Huxtable of The Cosby Show as his inspiration;

· Dr. Andrea Meinerz, who spends her few free evenings with her husband bird-watching and tending to their two ferrets. As a release from her hectic schedule, Meinerz also plays poker, often using her skills as a first-year neurology medicine resident to analyze her opponents’ reactions;

· Dr. Robin Lowman, a second generation physician who grew up shadowing her father during his rounds in a hospital emergency room. An emergency medicine resident, Lowman is also a talented singer. She performed off-Broadway before her residency and still writes and records her own music;

· Dr. Luis Tumialàn, a fifth-year neurosurgery resident and former U.S. Navy diver and medic, who balances his professional responsibilities with his duties at home as a new father. In the documentary, he consults with Gupta on patients and performs delicate brain surgery.

Grady’s Anatomy also takes a look at how this group of young doctors manages their training around recent restrictions on the number of consecutive hours medical residents are allowed to work. In 2003, new national guidelines limited the number to no more than 30 consecutive hours, and an average of no more than 80 hours per week. While some doctors say the restrictions prevent doctors from becoming overly tired and improve patient care, others believe these restrictions do not reflect real medical practice and do not allow enough flexibility for unpredictable, on-the-job learning opportunities.

“This may be one of the biggest changes that we’ve seen in medical education in the last few decades – limiting now the number of hours that we can actually train residents,” Gupta says in the documentary.

The executive producer for this program is Bud Bultman; the vice president and senior executive producer for CNN Productions is Mark Nelson.

CNN Mobile review

I've spent an hour or so over the weekend playing with the newly-launched CNN Mobile service. Before this week, I had often wondered why CNN did not have a mobile internet news service. Well, they did but it wasn't a full service. For some years, CNN offered a software download in conjunction with a third party software company. However, all the software did each time it was activated was download the last ten stories from CNN.com. This was better than nothing, until I upgraded my phone to a Nokia 6233 last year, which wasn't compatible with the software.

So until now, I found myself using the BBC's fantastic mobile news service which was fast, comprehensive and pleasant to use.

CNN's new service started on 1 March, somewhat quietly. The first I knew about it was on 2 March, when I spotted it advertised on the on-screen flipper on CNNI. I immediately checked it out.

My first impression was that it appeared to be a CNN International approach, as opposed to CNN/US. Indeed, the logo at the top of the home page is that of CNNI. Overall, the page looked very good on screen. Obviously much of this depends on how your phone is set up, but - with what I believe are the default settings on mine - the screen was clear and uncluttered.

On going to the home page, you are presented with the CNNI logo and the top four stories. The top story of the four is in a grey box, and has a related image beside it.

On scrolling down, a banner for CNN.com's international video news headlines round-up World News Now appears, which you can watch on the phone. Unfortunately, on trying to do this I was shown a message which told me that my phone could not support the video format used.

There is the obligatory advertisement on the homepage. Like the previous software-based cellphone offering, and the PC tickers and alerts services that CNN offers, there is only one advertiser shown in this slot, which hasn't changed from day one - it's been Lexus all the way. Of course, clicking on the Lexus logo takes you to their advertisement.

Below all of this (quite a bit of scrolling) you are finally presented with all of the sections of the mobile website. Categories are colour coded, just like CNNI - green for sport, blue for business etc. The categories are as follows:

Top Stories, World News, Business, Weather, Sport, Entertainment and Lifestyle, Science and Technology, In the Field blog (in the form of a banner advertisement), More CNN services and help.

In the weather section of the home page, I automatically see the current day's forecast for London. As this is the city I currently reside in, I'm not sure if this is on purpose or just coinicidence, so I'm interested in what others see here.

When you go to an article in any section, you are presented with a small graphic related to the story. There is a magnifying glass below, which you can click to see a larger, high quality version of the same image.

A good move by CNN is how the text is displayed. Quite a large amount of text is on screen at any one time, and some stories can be stretched over as many as ten pages. On a tiny screen, this can get quite tiring on the eye. However, CNN have alternated between white and grey backgrounds from paragraph to paragraph - a simple idea which makes a huge difference when it comes to breaking things up a little. Your brain is no longer trained to read to the end of each page, but to the end of each paragraph, which is less tiresome.

At the bottom of each page of text is a link to go to the next page of the story, and a link to move to the next story in the category.

In each of the category pages there is a link to the home page, and midway through the pages there are some in-depth feature articles. However, oddly these are rarely releated to the category you are viewing. For instance, this evening there was an in-depth report on a skiing tournament in Eastern Europe within the business page.

CNN's online service has excelled for over 10 years when it comes to weather. CNN Mobile is no exception. On going to the weather page you are presented with a list of cities, and there is a text box to search for another of the 10,000 cities for which CNN provides 5-day forecasts. Temperature information and graphical depictions of weather conditions are displayed.

Under the "More CNN Services" section, the only information offered are details of the CNN i-Report citizen journalism service. Perhaps there will be more to come in future.

Overall, I'm very impressed with the service. However, the BBC mobile service is more pleasant to use. The writing style on the BBC's online services is more tailored towards the technology that people use to read it. CNN's style of writing is more compariable to that found in tangible newspapers, and a little more involved. Therefore, when reading such a style on a smaller screen, it is a little trickier than reading BBC articles - which are still quality pieces of writing, but written for purpose.

That said, CNN Mobile is an important move. It's not a new method of providing news generally, so CNN have had plenty of time to see for themselves what works and what doesn't from other news agency services. If someone wants a better service, I would suggest BBC. But if they want their news from CNN, CNN Mobil works well.

CNN Mobile can be visited by typing www.cnnmobile.com into your cellphone's internet broswer.

CNN Expansión goes live

CNN and Mexican business magazine Expansión have teamed up to launch an online Spanish-language business website CNNExpansion.com. The site launched Sunday 25 February 2007.

Thanks to Rodrigo for the head's up.

CNN Mobile portal goes live

On 1 March 2007, CNN launched it's new browsable mobile/cellphone service CNN Mobile. By typing cnnmobile.com into your cellphone's internet broswer, you can now use a cellphone-friendly news service modelled on CNN.com.

Graphics are kept to a minimum, although the full text of stories appears to be intact.

There are four regional versions of CNN Mobile - Europe/Middle East/Africa, Latin America, Asia-Pacific/South Asia and North America. Most mobile services should automatically take you to your relevant region.

From cnnmobile.com on your cellphone, you can also watch the hourly World News Now updates, search a 14-day news archive and read the new CNN In the Field blog.

The service is only available on cellphones. If you go to www.cnnmobile.com on the conventional internet, you will be taken to a website with information about the service, plus details on how to access it. There is also a demo of the service on the website.

I've tried it on my own cellphone here in England, and so far I'm very impressed with it. It's a much more comprehensive service that the software-based mobile service CNN has offered for a number of years.

I plan to do a full review of the service over the weekend. Keep checking CNN Observations for that.

Your thoughts...

From the feedback form...

13 of the top 15 shows are from Fox. By definition, only Fox is supplying something that the majority of the market wants. Fox must be laughing all the way to the bank while the others keep pushing products that the market is clearly not buying.
