CNN/I Daylight Saving Schedule Changes

This weekend, the United States moves into daylight saving time, three weeks before most of the rest of the world. As a result, the CNN/I schedule will change from Monday 12 March 2007.

These appear to be the main changes:

• World News (as opposed to World News Asia) is at 1200 gmt

• World Sport is at 1230 gmt

• World News Asia is now at 1300 gmt

• Your World Today will now start at 1400 gmt

• All "evening" (European time) programmes will now be an hour earlier, therefore World Business Today at 1830 and 1930 gmt, World News Europe at 1900 and 2000 gmt, World Sport at 2030 gmt, Business International at 2100 gmt

• There is a new edition of World News at 2200 gmt, followed by World Sport at 2230 gmt

• The AC360 simulcast with CNN/US is now live at 0200 gmt

• There is a new rerun of Larry King Live at 0400 gmt

Does this mean no AC 360 for Asia? And YWT airs at 10pm Singapore time? And isn't HKG/SIN/CHN 12 hrs earlier than EST?

Hey Dustin, who will anchor this extra World News after Business Internationl? Will this come from London, Atlanta or HK?

According to the schedule at CNN's Asia Pacific website, AC 360 *will* be shown in Asia live at 0200 gmt (1000 HK).

At the moment, HK is 12 hours ahead of EST (not earlier, HK is half a day in front, so it's later).

As for the extra World News, I'd imagine it *should* come from London, as they usually did Business International at this time. But I seem to remember World News in the past at this time came from Atlanta.

Keep in mind that this edition of World News *may* just last for 3 weeks, until most of the rest of the world moves into DST.
