Living Golf, CNN International's monthly feature program, marks 100 episodes on air this month.

Launching in 2003, the show was originally hosted by Becky Anderson. Don Riddell, former CNN sport anchor Justin Armsden and Alex Thomas have all fronted the program over the years. Current host Shane O'Donoghue picked up hosting and reporting duties earlier this year.

On Wednesday, World Sport celebrated the 100 episode milestone with the short highlights package below.




CNN International viewers can watch the 100th episode during September at the following times (all times GMT):

September 8: 1030 and 1730
September 10: 0630, 1500 and 2230
September 12: 0330

CNN International will debut a year-long series of Olympic programs this Thursday. 'Aiming for Gold' premieres at 0930 GMT, with a repeat screening at 1730 GMT. Details from CNN below.

CNN Press Release: With just one year to go until the eyes of the world are on London for the Games of the XXX Olympiad, CNN is launching a series of special Olympics 2012 programming, ‘Aiming For Gold’, as it takes on the role of the international home for the greatest sporting event in the world.

CNN’s programme will speak to the biggest Olympic stars, as well as the newsmakers driving the myriad decisions and events that contribute to the 2012 Games, with contributions from its many bureaux around the world to bring all aspects of the event – financial, social, cultural, political or sporting – to global viewers across all its platforms, from TV to cnn.com and through dedicated social media on Twitter and Facebook.

‘Aiming For Gold’ kicks off its year-long programming with a key interview with Lord Sebastian Coe, former Olympic 1500 meter champion and the man responsible for spear-heading the London 2012 campaign. Coe talks to CNN’s Don Riddell about the challenges, controversies and opportunities the Games will bring to people from across the world, including questions from the CNN audience.

Also in the debut show, Becky Anderson reports on London’s history in hosting the games – in 1908, 1948 and now 2012; Stan Grant looks at the legacy of the 2008 Beijing Olympics; and Christina Ohurugu, a British 2008 gold medallist who grew up in the shadow of the games being built in east London, talks about the inspiration the 2012 provide.

* Justin Armsden, London-based World Sport presenter, has left the network after 10 years.

* Back|Story host Michael Holmes is currently in Iraq; he'll be reporting on the official pullout of U.S. combat forces from the country. Related promo is here

* CNN International has commenced marketing 'World Business Today'. The first promo for the current incarnation of the show is for Asian audiences.

* Connect The World introduces a new interactive feature this week called, 'Global Connections'. Each week, viewers will be asked to find the connection between two random countries. Learn more about the weekly segment here.

Several hours across the day have been reformatted. The main change has seen two editions of World Business Today extended to 60 minutes (from 30 minutes), and the 0600 GMT World Report also extended from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. The new weekday schedule - introduced last Monday - is below.

The refreshed schedule brings with it a couple of new anchor rosters:

* Rosemary Church has moved from weekend duties and been appointed anchor of the 0500 GMT World Report on weekdays. Rosemary is also currently hosting the second hour until a new host is named.

* Zain Verjee moves back to anchor the 0800 GMT, as well as host of the monthly 'iList' series.

*Don Riddell has moved back to sport duties to anchor World Sport and host the monthly 'Living Golf' program.

CNN International's Don Riddell has signed off as anchor of World Report.

The London-based anchor announced on his Twitter page on Monday that this would be his last week hosting the daily news bulletin.

As he signed off Friday, Riddell teased his next project at CNN:

"I'll be in a new role the next time I'll be in this studio. I'm very much looking forward to it, and I hope to see you again soon."

CNN International has this weekend unveiled new image spots featuring staff from the network's London offices.

The 30 second spots - most of which the footage was filmed in London at the start of this year - attempt to reinforce the network's global position, and shows various staff members describing CNN's global operations and the diverse backgrounds of the network's employees.

Rosemary Church just confirmed via "Tweet" that in fact Zain Verjee is hosting CNN Today with Don Riddell starting Monday.

Justin Armsden has moved to full-time host of CNN/I's Living Golf, as it seems that CNN/I is slowly transitioning Don Riddell to news anchor, as he has been filling in on CNN Today Europe.
