HLN's Robin Meade Set For Grand Ole Opry Debut
HLN anchor Robin Meade will make her Grand Ole Opry debut this Saturday in Nashville. The Morning Express host will perform with famed pianist Jim Brickman.
In an interview with Walt Belcher, Meade talks about an album she's working on, and whether there are plans to pursue a fulltime music career.

"It's going to be a lot of work but my album will have 13 songs with a country tinge, including six that I co-wrote, two cover songs and rest will be originals by other people," she says.
Meade says she began to appreciate country music in 1992 after meeting Shaw at an event Meade was hosting for the GAC (Great American Country) cable network. She says she also met Brickman through Shaw.
"I don't intend to leave news," Meade says. "I see no reason why people can't express both sides of their talents."
