Ted Turner Weighs In On CNN Merger Talk
Ted Turner, CNN co-founder, stepped into CNN's 'The Situation Room' on Wednesday. During the lengthy chat with Wolf Blitzer, Turner was asked whether he thought CNN should merge with a broadcast outlet.
"I'm not privy to the financials these days, so I don't know, but I don't see that it would be too harmful", Turner said, while stressing that CNN should retain editorial control following any merger.
