Anderson Cooper To Anchor Coverage Of Obama's Visit To Ground Zero
CNN has issued a programming note to announce Anderson Cooper will anchor live from Ground Zero in New York from 11:00am (eastern) today, part of CNN's coverage of President Obama's visit to the site of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Mr Obama's visit follows the death of bin Laden earlier this week, and is the President's first visit to the site since 2008.
Cooper will also continue to anchor live from Ground Zero for AC360. Former Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice is among the guest lineup tonight.
CNN also notes that John King, USA will also be live from Ground Zero at 7:00pm (eastern). Former Secretary of Homeland Security and Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge is scheduled to appear during the program.
