Since last year when Cynthia Hudson was named senior vice president and general manager of CNN en Español, the network has made a radical change in its programming, opened studios in Miami and strengthened its brand.

"Cafe CNN," to be produced in Atlanta, debuts March 7 in the 6:00-9:00 a.m. EST time slot and will review current events with news about health, art, culture, human interest and the weather, in a mix of news and entertainment.
"We couldn't be happier. This has been magnificent for the network, for our audience and for ourselves. The Miami office is the armed branch of CNN en Español in the city that serves as the link between Latin America and the United States. Coming through here are presidents, artists, all kinds of celebrities," Suarez said.
