Maria Ressa is now heading up the news department at ABS-CBN, one of the largest TV networks in Manila. She recently got into hot water for broadcasting footage of the Manila Peninsula takeover by anti-government folk, last December - but emerged with flying colors.
Last I heard, Veronica Pedrosa moved to the BBC, got married and had a baby. Her mother Carmen, has a regular column in the Philippine Star, a major daily newspaper in the Philippines.
I miss Shihab Rattansi. :(
Actually, Veronica Pedrosa is with Al-Jazeera International now as a news presenter in Kuala Lumpur. You can view her bio here.

Whatever happened to Rudi Bakhtiar? I heard she moved to Fox News a while ago but don't see her around much.
Nice redesign.
anon 2:37: According to her Wikipedia, it says:
In 2008, Bakhtiar became the first Director of Public Relations for the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans, an organization dedicated to building an inclusive and representative voice in the public and political arena for Iranian Americans.
But you know how Wikipedia can be.
anon 4:50: Thanks!!! I try to mix it up from time-to-time.

I've been an anonymous fan of Elise Wuhl for years.
I've never been able to confirm it, but I think she must be the daughter of actor Robert Wuhl. I suspect she was given her job at CNN by Ted Turner, because she was hired right after Ted Turner was given guest roles on Robert Wuhl's HBO shows, including Arli$$ (which I had barely heard of, and never watched).
Anyone know for sure if Elise's job was awarded though good ol' fashioned nepotism or not? Generally, Boston University grads get their jobs that way....given what a poor school it is.
ha... she is his daughter... nice job!
