CNN Senior Editor of Mideast Affairs Octavia Nasr is featured on the cover of LAU Magazine and Alumni Bulletin, a publication of Lebanese American University.

The feature called "Lebanese Journalists Around The World", showcases journalists of Lebanese descent from various networks around the world.

Nasr celebrated her twenty-year anniversary with CNN last year. She joined CNN from the Lebanese Broadcasting Company, where she reported from the front lines of the war during the country's most dangerous times for journalists. After joining CNN she served as an editor on the international assignment desk coordinating coverage of the first Gulf War. Since then she hosted World Report and World News from 1993 to 2003 before moving into her current position.

A graduate of Lebanese American University, she holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Communication Arts.
