BREAKING NEWS: Susan Roesgen Moves to Chicago

Chicago Sun-Times - Andy Roesgen, who joined Fox-owned WFLD-Channel 32 as a free-lance reporter, isn't the only new Roesgen in town.

His sister, Susan Roesgen, has been named a Chicago-based correspondent for CNN. For the past two years she was reporting from New Orleans for CNN.
I wonder what this means for the Chicago Bureau? Will Susan replace Jonathan Freed or Keith Oppenheim?

I am with you Anonymous. Although I watched a differnet station when I lived there, I did catch her at other times. To see such unprofessionalism and blatent disrespect is discusting. I would be ashamed to call myself a news reporter and CNN should fire her for this lack of ehtics. But, why should we expect this from a news industry that has so little respect for the people that they are supposed to be keeping informed. This network shows exactly why no one watches there3 programs anymore.

The most unprofessional display of political bias and willful slander that I’ve ever seen. As a professional myself, I am required by law, to provide accurate information and site source material in any reporting that I do. I will not recommend CNN or this unprofessional rude individual for any future viewing

I attended a Tea Party with my husband and daughter and I promise you our family is NOT anti-Obama, nor anti-government. We love our country. However, we feel some politicians, both Republicans and Democrats are wasting our money on pet projects and we, the taxpayers, will have to pay back the debt through taxes eventually. Susan Roesgen'a reporting on the Tea Party was unprofessional and embarrassing. The whole world was watching and we might as well had Jerry Springer reporting.

What Susan Roesgen did can't be called reporting by any reasonable person. Of course, with the exception of the consise lady and the guy w/ the baby, Roesgen was successful in finding some morons to exploit, which I think was her goal, not to report. She should be immediately transferred to one of CNN's commentary shows...she'd do well with Angry Campbell Brown and the even angrier black preacher on at prime time. CNN has completed it's metamorphosis from a respectable media outlet to Fox for the left.

its a sad day when you realize that the supposedly intelligensia/news media is blinded to its own internal feedback. we need a new way of getting our news, but better, we need a new political party not full of the same hacks sucking up to cnn or fox but really listening to what the majority of people know and are concerned about. Rosegen is just a reflection of the media bias she works for.

If a so-called reporter who was conservative did what Ms. Roesgen did at a liberal protest, they would've physically attacked her! Case in point: The little old lady holding the cross at the gay protest against Prop. 8 in Calif. Ms. Roesgen was trying her hardest to antagonize the tea party protestors in Chicago to get them to act crazy & violent. She failed miserably & ruined her reputation in the process. I wrote a letter (not e-mail) to CNN telling them how disgusted I was by her & that I would never again watch their station.
