Terror arrests coverage
At 0953 gmt, Adrian Finighan (in London) broke into a live edition World Sport (from London) to bring the latest details of terror arrests in the West Midlands region of England. Adrian brought the news from the London newsroom (old studio), as opposed to the new studio where World Sport with Pedro Pinto was coming from.
It is assumed that Pedro actually continued World Sport while the breaking news was going out, as World Sport is also taped for rebroadcast later in the day. Hence, Adrian was in the newsroom. (Aside, you can see Alphonso Van Marsh working in the background!)
Reports were continuously broadcast through the morning, including one breaking into the rerun of Larry King Live at 1030 gmt, with Adrian Finighan this time at the studio, and Paula Hancocks live at Downing Street, London.
