After a 2008 economic crisis that left few unscathed, CNN’s chief business correspondent Ali Velshi kick starts the new year with a weeklong series of CNN Radio programming guiding listeners through the financial challenges of the moment and the months to come.
“The Ali Velshi Show: Gimme My Money Back” will be available for CNN Radio affiliates starting today and continuing through Friday, Jan. 9. The series, based on Velshi’s new book Gimme My Money Back: Your Guide to Beating the Financial Crisis, airs each day from 1:06 p.m. to 2 p.m. (ET) and is available on CNN.com.
Guests include John Bogle, founder of The Vanguard Group; Jean Chatzky, a personal finance expert and author; Doug Flynn, a certified financial planner; and Ryan Mack, financial planner and president of Optimum Capital Management. These guests and Velshi will provide steps for listeners to get back on track in 2009 by examining the topics below:
