Joy Behar is leaving HLN, according to reports.

I have learned that Joy Behar will leave HLN at the end of the year. Behar, who has hosted her primetime talk show on the CNN sibling since 2009, is in the final year of her contract there.
Meanwhile,
TV Newser today has a little more detail:
HLN executive in charge Scot Safon is holding a meeting with staff at this hour announcing the change. The show will end its run mid-next month, with repeats until the end of December. One of HLN’s primetime shows — perhaps Nancy Grace — is expected to re-air in Behar’s timeslot in the New Year.
“Joy and her team produced over 500 episodes of a show that featured news-making interviews, great conversation and plenty of humor,” says Safon. “We thank Joy for the many memorable moments she gave the HLN audience.”
I for one will be very sad to see Joy Behar not have her show on CNN any longer. I have watched her since she started in 2009 and have always enjoyed her show. I am sure there are many that feel the same as I. Canada loves Joy !
ReplyDeleteI love Canada but there is no "Joy" in my home. I find her views on many subjects distasteful and down right vulgar ... and I certainly am not watching for her political views. She should stick to comedy, if you like her style, but I fear that is not enough for her. As the saying goes, "she has gotten too big for her britches"... and I no longer watch The View unless I know she's not on. So I, for one, am glad her contract is over. I'm surprised she lasted this long. Sorry Canada!
