Today on CNN Sunday, Betty Nguyen's colleagues said their farewells to Betty Nguyen as she leaves for CBS starting March 11th. Long time co-anchor TJ Holmes called to send his best wishes while on his honeymoon on the island of St. Lucia.
Does anyone know why CNN let Betty go? CNN is losing some good talent lately and viewers are left with some really bad anchors. I refuse to watch Velshi & Sanchez.
What will be her role at CBS?

AC and Erica Hill have appeared on both networks while employed at CNN.
CNN is owned by Time-Warner and CBS is Viacom, so no "corporate" connection.
