I don't care what they call it as long as it they don't mess with the format. It's the best thing on HLN. The 11am repeat of
Larry King is not Headline News. The afternoon programs are awful. Primetime News is right out of the trashcan. All of Primetime belongs on another channel.

As long as Robin stays on air! Do not change Robin Meade. I agree, she IS the best thing on HLN!
    Robin Rocks!

Yeah, I guess since half the on air staff "bailed out" on Ms. Meade, the name "Robin & Co." has to go.

Go Rockin' Robin! Just don't mess up the format. CNN's Headline News has slowly been heading downhill with the addition of the Larry King repeat, Headline News Prime, and all the other crap like Glenn Beck and (yuck) Nancy Grace, and the worst of them all, "News To Me" - which is nothing but eye-candy fluff of the lowest common denominator, not worthy of being on a NEWS channel. The actual HLN newscasts are slowly disappearing....what a tragedy. Fortunately, there's MSNBC for the rest of the day after Rockin' Robin is over.

HLN has been going places since I started watching one of the primetime shows on there. Robin Meade, all the day anchors, Glenn Beck, Erica Hill, Nancy Grace, AJ Hammer and Brooke Anderson are all awesome. It makes my day to watch Headline News and CNN! It's just the best news organazation on the whole damn planet!

    CNN fan,
    Sara

I am curious to see the new format with Robin Meade on Monday morning. It seems that we will be able to see more of Robin since it appears as though she might come out from behind the desk a bit more. As fot the other junk like Larry King, Nancy Grace, Glenn Beck...get rid of them. They do the HLN a dis-service. Ad more of Christi Paul and Robin Meade types and you would have a great channel.

Agree with you all. Keep Robin, clean house on the rest! Especially get rid of the two crackpots (Grace and Beck). I would rather they just display the rainbow bars at night!

The HNN morning news show is an excellent combination of delivering the news competently and objectively, but with enough personality to keep you interested in the early hours. Robin is excellent witha great mix for mornings of personality and credibility. I'd like to see them build on her strengths by increasing the personal interaction with adding specialists to hit areas with greater insight (foreign affairs, entertainment) yet keep the pace increase they've recently instituted. It's my favorite morning news show.

Robin I think you are great! I do however have a big problem with Obama as president because no matter what his religion or beliefs I think that the president of the United States should be willing to say the Pledge of Allegiance with their hand over their heart and Obama wont do it! Obama for president of the U.S?

I have flogged the troglodite to Robin Meade so many times... plus Christi Paul too... and once to Nancy Grace, but then in my fantasy she sued me

Wake up America -It's not the president that makes the change, it's the senate-

What do CNN HLN employees DO all day? Three maybe four story bytes that run for 24 - 36 hours straight? I could do better than that with an assistant and a good cam setup. Talk about cushy jobs, these guys have it made! Amazing. And don't forget the Dental coverage. I wish. Maybe Ted's getting senile. Or maybe close the corporate donut dispensary.

  15. Headline News, and Robin's anchoring, are indeed the highlights of the day on HLN. And I'll add my voice to those wondering what Primetime is doing on a CNN channel. There have to be better, more newsworthy, and more attractive avenues to follow for the evening programming. As much as I enjoy Robin's broadcasts, the evening shows turn my stomach. Once Erica Hill left the line-up, I might as well be watching Fox--heaven forfend.
